The students of the Hillside High School Junior Engineering Technical Society (JETS) team have achieved a first for Hillside Public Schools – competing in a national Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) competition - TEAMS. TEAMS (Test of Engineering Aptitude, Mathematics and Science) is an annual competition that gives students an opportunity to discover engineering and how knowledge in engineering can help make a difference in the world.  Students work collaboratively to solve real-world engineering challenges, applying their math and science skills in practical, creative ways.  Hillside High School JETS 9/10 team B, led by their Advisor,  Mrs. Ebong, have qualified to compete in the national TEAMS competitions being held June 21st – June 24th in Orlando, Florida.
