Residency and Registration
Annual Registration is Required for All Students Attending Hillside Public Schools. Parents may question why it is necessary to register their children every year, especially if their enrollment is continuous. The answer is simple. Annual registration of all students is required in order to prevent non-resident studnets from enrolling in the Hillside Public School. Annual Registration Protects Your Tax Dollars
When students are illegally enrolled in our schools, they take up space needed for Hillside children, and they place an undue burden on Hillside taxpayers. The Board of Education is committed to preventing non-resident students from enrolling, and to seeking out and vigorously prosecuting any parties that fraudulently enroll ineligible students in our schools.
