For students with above average skills in math & science who like to build things and see how they workor are interested in becoming a doctor, and who are motivated to achieve.

What This Prep School Prepares Students For:
The Engineering / PreMed College Prep School will prepare students to pursue higher education and rewarding careers in engineering, computer technology, sciences, and science-related fields such as medicine.



  
ADMISSION CRITERIA

  • Selective admission, application required
  • Recommended grade point average of 80% overall, 85% in math and science
  • Standardized math and/or science test
  • Personal Interview
  • 2 letters of recommendation and essay

COURSE OF STUDIES INCLUDES

  • 4 years Honors Science, including AP Physics or AP Chemistry
  • 4 years Honors Math and AP Calculus
  • 4 years German, including AP German
  • 4 years English
  • 3 years History

  • Introduction to PreMed
  • Microbiology/Genetics
  • Anatomy & Physiology
  • 1 year Computer Programming
  • 4 years Physical Education or ROTC
