The Hillside Education Foundation is a non-profit organization set up to aid and support Hillside's educational programs. Our goals are the triple A's: Academics, Arts, and Athletics. We hope to enrich and expand these programs through funding acquired from charitable giving.During the past few years, the Foundation has generated funds through fundraising and grant-seeking activities. The Hillside Education Foundation funds mini-grants to teachers, scholarships to students, academic competitions, and field and study trips as well as other endeavors, which enhance education for our children. Recently funded activities include a class trip to the Bhular Space Center in Bergen County, tutoring activities, digital camera equipment for classrooms, and an innovative pre-school mathematics program. All recipients of our mini-grants are posted in our site's archives. Each of the public schools and the administration building display wall plaques in their front entranceways, which have inscribed names of Foundation supporters. In addition to our supporters, individuals can be honored and/or memorialized on these plaques. A form is provided at this web site for plaque purchases.
