There are a variety of musical opportunities for students at the high school. Performing ensembles include choirs, concert band, jazz band, marching band, the spring musical, and string ensemble. Classes like guitar and piano are also available.

Incoming freshman who wish to focus their electives in music during their high school career may audition for either the Instrumental or Vocal Performing Arts Preparatory Schools. The "Preparatory Schools" are for students who want to have all their electives in a specialized field and access to classes only available through that program, while the "Open College" is like a traditional high school where students choose their electives from a wide variety of classes.
