Students from Mrs. Diggs and Mrs. Arias' class visited Hillside High School to partner with Ms. Bartholomew’s African-American Studies class. The students read books, created a craft, took a tour of the building and spoke to high school students about their experiences. The high school students have been mentors and serve as an inspiration to Hillside's future comets.

The Week of the Young Child is an annual celebration sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.  On April 9, 2019, A.P. Morris Early Childhood Center hosted a special evening event for preschool families.
