October 2nd, 2023 was the first Spirit Week/Week of Respect Day at Hillside Public Schools! Yesterday, Walter O. Krumbiegel Middle School started the week off with none other than an extraordinary assembly led by "Mental Hop". Mental Hop is a creation of Dr. Ralph Sconiers, that promotes mental health awareness in schools while also integrating the power of Hip-hop and contemporary music! The students were deafening and excited throughout the event, and our administrators had a blast! Shoutout to Mr. Mathura, Mr. Ferguson, Mr. Moore, and others who contributed photos from the momentous assembly!
