Ola Edwards Community School 5th and 6th graders were treated to an awesome assembly earlier this afternoon (3/18/2024)! U.S. Magistrate Judge, Mr. Jose Almonte, visited Ola Edwards Community School to discuss the importance of education in his career, and his incredible journey, from being unable to speak English, to sitting as a Judge in the highest court in New Jersey! Judge Almonte spoke with an ESL student after the assembly as well, having been an ESL student himself as a child, demonstrating that with perseverance and a dream, anything is possible! Thank you, Ms. Horn, Vice-Principal Diggs, Principal Davis, and the Ola Edwards staff for organizing this fantastic assembly!
