Hillside Public Schools is proud to host our annual MLK Day of Service, a time when our school community comes together to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. through meaningful action.
On Saturday, January 17th, from 10:00–11:30 AM at Hillside High School (Cafeteria), students, families, and staff are invited to participate in a hands-on service project focused on supporting our neighbors in need. Volunteers will help pack donation boxes filled with warm hats and gloves for community members during the winter season.
We are collecting NEW hats and gloves at DGTA through Thursday, January 15th. Donations of new hats and gloves are welcome at the event. We encourage all who are able to join us in spreading warmth — both literally and figuratively — throughout our community as we honor Dr. King’s legacy of service and justice.
