Our Girls Rock Science program launched with an exciting and hands-on Session 1, where our 5th and 6th grade girls stepped into the role of scientists and engineers as they explored the foundations of hydroponics.
During this session, students learned that plants don’t always need soil to grow. Instead, they discovered how hydroponic systems use water, nutrients, and light to support plant growth—an innovative and sustainable approach to agriculture.
