On Friday, February 20, 2026, Hurden Looker Elementary School participated in an exciting schoolwide assembly with Young Audiences Arts for Learning: Musiquita! This interactive performance introduced our students to the vibrant sounds, rhythms, and cultural traditions of Latin American music through live instruments, storytelling, and dance. Musiquita is designed to deepen students’ understanding of music as a form of cultural expression while building listening skills, creativity, and appreciation for the performing arts.
