Yesterday's (4/28/2024) Autism Awareness and Acceptance Event at Ola Edwards Community School was a massive success! These photos are but a snapshot of all the fun, and the wide range of activities that took place at the event. Families, students, and staff got to enjoy a beautiful day outdoors with food, ice cream, games, balloon artists, a magician, a giant inflatable slide, a petting zoo, and more! Shoutout to the Hillside Board of Education members in attendance, @hillside_firefighters, and @hillsidepolicenj who not only showed up, but also participated in the fun themselves and provided a donation to the cause! A huge thank you to Superintendent Glover, the Office of Student Support Services, our directors, administrators, and staff who made this event possible and provided the Hillside Public Schools community with an amazing, inclusive day!
