Principal's Message

Dr. Wilson

Dear Middle School Students and Parents,

As we arrive at the midpoint of the school year, I want to take a moment to recognize the hard work, perseverance, and progress demonstrated across our school community. The first half of the year has brought meaningful learning experiences, personal growth, and many accomplishments. I am proud of what our scholars have achieved and deeply grateful for the support and partnership of our families.

WOK Middle School continues to offer a wide range of academic programs, athletic teams, clubs, and student organizations. Many students have taken advantage of these opportunities, strengthening our school culture and building skills that extend beyond the classroom. As we move into the second half of the year, I encourage all students to remain engaged, explore new interests, and set thoughtful goals for continued success.

To support a smooth and productive second semester, please keep the following expectations in mind:

  • Students should arrive on time each day to ensure a safe and efficient entry through our security procedures.

  • The designated school uniform must be worn daily to attend classes.

  • Students and families should review schedules, assignments, and progress in each course to stay organized and prepared for upcoming academic responsibilities.

School Counseling Assignments

  • Ms. Mollie Gash – 7th Grade Counselor

  • Ms. Lakiah Stewart – 8th Grade Counselor

Our counseling team is available to support academic planning, social-emotional needs, and goal-setting for all students. Please feel free to reach out should you need guidance or assistance

As we engage in the second half of the school year, let’s continue working together to ensure every student is supported, challenged, and prepared to reach their highest potential. Your partnership—at home and in the school community—remains essential to student success.

Thank you for your continued cooperation and commitment. I look forward to all that we will achieve together in the coming months.

Sincerely,

Dr. Roy T. Wilson
