This past Monday, December 9th, 2024, the Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest took 45 Hillside High School students, along with Ms. Agoglia, Mr. Colon, Mr. Gelowitz, and Ms. Ullrich to Washington, D.C. to visit the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, the Lincoln Memorial, and the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial! In addition to speaking with the daughter/granddaughter of Holocaust survivors, a select few were even allowed to meet and talk with a survivor from Auschwitz and may be featured on an NBC special commemorating the 80th Anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz! Hillside High School Student Council @hillsidestuco proudly received an award from Gina and Mary from Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center’s Breast Center @coopermanbarnabas! The student council donated $1,000 in funds, raised through their dedicated efforts, to support vital breast cancer awareness and care.
