Last night, the ESL and World Language Departments in collaboration with William Colon, the president of the Latino Institute, Inc hosted two parent advisory meetings. Presenters Trinidad De la Rosa discussed building healthy study habits at home while attorney Fernando Jimenez, Esq offered his expertise on immigration rights to Hillside Public School parents. On Wednesday, March 19th, 2025, Ms. Crisanaz's science classes at Hurden-Looker Elementary School completed virtual labs with Students2Science (@students_2_science)! The students completed a lab called "Candy Color Wheel" where they used M&M's to identify the primary, secondary, and tertiary colors that make up a package of candy, using chromatography paper to separate colors!
