Wrapping up a fantastic first week of Hillside Public Schools District's ESL Summer Enrichment program! It's been inspiring to see our Hillside High School students apply their developing English skills across subjects. From tackling math equations and slopes to exploring complex topics like climate change, the physics of rollercoasters 🎢, and building structures through reading and hands-on activities, students have shown incredible dedication. We are off to a great start! A huge thank you to our incredible program director Mrs. Okparaeke, and the fantastic teachers in charge, Ms. Andino, Ms.Antwi, and Mr. Weiss for making this week such a success!

Today, July 8th, 2025, the founders of Lectec (@golectec), Luke and Jared, visited Hillside High School to engage with students in our BeAble Summer Academy who constructed Lectec skateboards! Students got to ride the skateboards outside today, and they had an absolute blast!
