On February 15th, 2024, Superintendent Glover hosted a Strategic Planning Session for Hillside Public Schools at Ola Edwards Community School! Last week, Dr. Bevere, Director of Curriculum and Instruction at Hillside Public Schools, presented at the AASA (The School Superintendents Association) National Convention in San Diego California! Dr. Bevere presented on behalf of Hillside Public Schools, and his work on Social Emotional Learning within our district. 5th-grade students in Ms. Crisanaz's class at Hurden Looker Elementary School recently participated in a V-Lab with Students2Science! This week's V-Lab centered on the Candy Color Wheel and Mixing and Separating Colors. Students explored the relationships between primary and secondary colors as they blended and separated them using a variety of techniques. Hillside Public Schools District had a massively successful World Read Aloud Day that consisted of Hillside Board of Education Members, Union County Commissioners, @hillside_firefighters, @hillsidepolicenj, Superintendent Glover, Hillside Public Schools Supervisors, Teachers, and Staff!
