On December 16th and 17th, 2024, Dr. Sam Rhodes facilitated mathematics lessons in all of the Hillside Public Schools. The lessons focused on problem-solving using CueThink. Our Hillside Comets Boys Varsity Basketball Team won the 62nd Annual Joe Silver Holiday Tournament on Monday, December 30th, 2024! Our Comets defeated Piscataway High School 60-58! This past Monday, December 9th, 2024, the Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest took 45 Hillside High School students, along with Ms. Agoglia, Mr. Colon, Mr. Gelowitz, and Ms. Ullrich to Washington, D.C. to visit the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, the Lincoln Memorial, and the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial! In addition to speaking with the daughter/granddaughter of Holocaust survivors, a select few were even allowed to meet and talk with a survivor from Auschwitz and may be featured on an NBC special commemorating the 80th Anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz!
